Built in 1939, The Alfred I. Dupont Building is Miami’s only art deco skyscraper and a representation of Depression modern architecture.
The Historic Alfred I. Dupont Building showcases 22,000 square feet of event space lined with Tennessee marble, hand-painted ceilings and art deco-style architecture. The north ballroom, which features an ornate iron-wrought bank teller window bar and 50,000-pound bank vault door, can accommodate up to 150 people. The south ballroom accommodates even more, up to 550 people.
Previously a bank, the Dupont Building screams old Miami class and houses two incredible spaces that allow you to really get creative. Guests love seeing our bartenders behind the bank teller cages. My favorite part: the safe—perfect for a dessert station or photo op!
