On September 5th, over 400 guests gathered at The Glass Venue for a one-of-a-kind immersive and interactive event. This whimsical celebration, planned and designed by A Joy Catering and Creativa Co. Events, transported attendees into the enchanting world of Alice in Wonderland. From captivating performances to delectable bites, each element of the evening was carefully curated to provide a unique and memorable experience.
Arrival Experience: Welcome to Wonderland
As guests arrived, they were greeted by the lively duo Tweedledee and Tweedledum, setting the playful tone for the evening. Walking through a mirrored keyhole, they entered the magical world of Wonderland. The step-and-repeat at the entrance proudly displayed all the event’s sponsors and vendors, offering guests the perfect photo opportunity. A “Ring and Sip” station allowed attendees to ring a bell, receiving a signature drink, “Down the Rabbit Hole,” served by a gloved server, which instantly immersed them in the evening’s whimsical theme.
White Rabbit Lounge: Cocktails and Delights
In the White Rabbit Lounge, guests enjoyed tantalizing bites like mushroom risotto kisses and Cheshire scallops, served by A Joy Catering. To further enhance the experience, Miami Pika added a spicy-sweet twist with Mexican candy featuring fruit and tajín. Guests also had the chance to take home personalized keepsakes, courtesy of Little Earth Flower, a typewriting poetry vendor crafting poems on the spot. The atmosphere was heightened by appearances from the White Rabbit, keeping the Wonderland theme alive throughout the night.
Queen’s Castle: A Feast for the Senses
At the heart of the Queen’s Castle, a 360-degree bar encircled by a giant tree adorned with red florals became the focal point of the room. A Joy Catering delighted guests with an array of exquisite plated bites, including “Mad Cow” braised short rib, “Peasant Pheasant” smoked chicken, and “Tweedle D” pear and cheese fiocchi. As the night progressed, guests indulged in boozy gelato from Quore Gelato, a perfect sweet treat to round out the evening’s dining experience.
The Maze: A Whimsical Wonderland Journey
Designed to capture the essence of Wonderland, the Maze took guests on an interactive journey through mirrors and immersive elements. The addition of a pyramid-shaped photo booth with LED screens from The Foto Booth Co. and Fuego Productionz provided a high-tech photo opportunity, offering guests a dynamic way to capture their memories.
Unbirthday Mad Hatter Tea Party: The Grand Finale
The night culminated with the Unbirthday Mad Hatter Tea Party, a show-stopping finale featuring a 43-foot-long table adorned with treats. Guests were invited to sit at the elegant table, where characters from the event joined them. A Joy Catering presented an assortment of cookies, cakes, tea sandwiches, macaroons, truffles, and mini cheesecakes. Servers provided personalized plates of sweets, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in this whimsical, interactive tea party experience.
Late-Night Treats: Sweet Endings
As the night came to a close, guests were treated to custom cookies from Sweet Guilt by Angelica and delightful “Drink Me” bottles filled with sweet milk drinks. This final touch ensured the evening ended on a memorable, magical note.
